This book tells a story of a boy, called Peter, experiencing bullying in all his life, since he started his kindergarten. It was not a matter for him as his best friend, Josie, was always supporting him, at first. Then, everything started to change between them as she walks away from his life. The bullying never stops, on and on…until one day, when he decided to stop all of it. Who is to blame?

This is one of the best novel I’ve read so far, written by Jodi Picoult and she has become of on my favorite author. It tells every important bit of Peter life and life surrounding him since he was small up to when he made his decision. It tells the journey of his life and as I read the book, I could feel of how empty or sad he was. It was one of the best seller in New York Times. I recommend you all to read this book.. 5 stars from me

Trip to Crab’s Island

I have been in Malaysia for more than 4 years, but honestly I don’t travel a lot and only to nearer places. Well, last month after my 5th semester ended, I had 2 weeks holiday. My owner of the house invite me and friends to go to Pulau Ketam (Crab’s Island), which is not that far from my area.

We travelled to Pelabuhan Klang, in which from there we used a boat to go to that island. We used a boat with aircond but the normal one was also available. The ticket was quite cheap for adult, which was Rm7/person and the normal boat was cheaper than this. It took around 30 minutes to get to the island.

When we got there, I was a bit amazed of how the houses were all supported by woods, in which then they make a cement on top to make a road and houses are built on top. There were lots of bicycle in which we could rent to travel around and that’s the main transport use in that island, no cars and I only saw one motor cylcle, but it was verrryy simple one, it’s like bicycle and they added like a machine to it to make it go faster. Well, the place has fresh air and the people there have simple living.The island also have shops, but no malls, only like groceries, houses, restaurants, shops for souvenirs, and those are mostly it. As we go around, we reached road end, we turned around and walked for 5 minutes and reached another end hehe.. the island was surely small. Mostly the foods they sell that I saw are seafoods, lots of big fishes, shrimps, CRABS, etc. The day was quite hot that day, made me drank 2 bottles of water. After walking around, we stopped in a restaurant and ate like a scramble egg but they added something in it (I don’t know what it was called). It tastes better when it was still hot, and basically that was the only thing I can eat made in that island as the people living there are mostly chinese and I don’t think the food was halal. So, better to fill your stomach first before coming here for muslims or bring something along.We went back after we left the retaurant. Overall, the trip was interesting!

One day in the playground

Salut all,
Finally, my second animation that I made since the last 2 months has finished hehe..
It took me quite of work, time and nerve, of course, to complete ‘cuz it’s just troublesome thing to do. Eventhough, it’s still not perfect, but finally I finished it and learned what I actually wanted to learn in Flash. I will make up some other thing next time with a better and smooth animation hehe.. this is still just the beginning of my phase of learning. Wish there’s actually someone who would teach me..heMm

I would like to share my creation here, and sorry for being so far from perfect

Si Bihun, Suami vs Istri, Kaki Seribu

Bihun dan Indomie

Bihun sangat iri hati terhadap Indomie. Setiap kali bertemu di supermarket mereka tidak pernah bertegur sapa, bahkan Bihun sering mengolok olok Indomie di depan umum, “Dasar kribo jelek hiiih, mentang mentang kuning & gemuk aja orang orang lebih suka sama dia, nggak tau malu.”

Hari hari berlalu dengan semakin menumpuknya rasa kebencian. Indomie tetap adem ayem, tidak peduli Bihun mau bilang apa. Pikir Indomie, “Kafilah menggonggong, gue berlalu aah…”. Suatu hari di supermarket muncul barang baru bernama Spaghetti. Saking tidak kuat menahan emosi, Bihun berlari dari raknya dan memukuli kepala Spaghetti sambil berteriak, “Jangan kira gue enggak ngenalin elu ya!! Meskipun di bonding begitu, gue tetep tau elu si kribo jelek itu !!!”

Masalah Pendengaran

JERI pergi ke dokter mengeluh tentang istrinya yang sudah hilang pendengaran.

“Seberapa burukkah pendengarannya? ” tanya dokter.

“Entahlah, Dok. Yang jelas saya mesti harus berteriak kalau bicara dengannya”.

“Oke, cobalah anjuran saya. Berdiri sekitar 6 meter darinya, lalu katakan sesuatu. Kalau dia tak bisa mendengarmu, berdirilah lebih dekat darinya, lalu katakan yang Anda katakan tadi. Kalau dia belum juga mendengar, teruslah mendekat. Dengan begitu saya akan tahu berapa jarak maksimal pendengarannya. “

Maka, Jeri pulang ke rumah dan mendapati istrinya sedang memasak di dapur. Dari jarak 6 meter ia berteriak,

“Makan apa kita malam ini?”

Tak ada jawaban. Lalu ia mendekat lagi, berhenti di jarak 5 meter dan menanyakan hal yang sama. Juga tak terdengar jawaban. Begitu juga pada jarak 3 meter. Akhirnya, ia berdiri di samping istrinya.

“Makan apa kita malam ini?” katanya setengah berteriak.

Istrinya berbalik menghadap Jeri, memelototinya, dan berteriak:

“Untuk keempat kalinya kubilang: KAMBING GULING!”

Kodok, Kura kura dan kaki seribu

Ada tiga friends, satunya kura2..satu lagi kodok.. terus satunya lagi uler kaki seribu. Suatu hari kura2 mengundang dua temennya kerumahnya buat pesta kecil2an. So.. mereka bertiga bikin pesta kecil di rumah kura2. Setelah asyik ngobrol, makan, minum and lain lain…si kodok berkata

Kodok: “Eh.. dari tadi kayaknya ada yang kurang ya.. elu pada ngerasa gak.. Oh iya kita kok gak ngerokok ya.. pantesan mulut asem banget nih..”

Kura2: “iya ya..sorry gue lupa nggak nyediain rokok… kalo gitu lu beli aje deh ‘Dok.. warungnya deket khan..!”

Kodok: “Lho koq gue sih.. khan tuan rumahn ya elu ‘Ra..”

Kura2: “iya sih.. tapi khan gue jalannya lambat. kalo elu khan bisa cepet..!!”

Kodok: “Ah.. nggak bisa gitu donk!!.. lagian kalo soal cepet.. pasti si uler kaki seribu lebih cepet dari gue.. kakinya aja ada seribu!!!”

Kura2: “Oh iya ya.. Elu aja deh yang pergi.. uler Kaki seribu..”

Uler K.1000: “koq jadi gue sih..”

Kodok : “Udah ..nggak apa apa.. elu aja.. buruan..”

Akhirnya si Uler K.1000 pergi juga untuk membeli rokok. Si Kodok dan Kura2 nungguin sambil ngegosipin artis artis lokal. Lima menit menunggu…si Uler K.1000 belum dateng juga… 10 menit.. 20 menit…satu jam… dan ternyata sampe tiga jam Uler K.1000 gak nongol2 juga.

Kodok: “Kooq Uler K.1000 nggak pulang2 ya..?”

Kura2: “Iya nih..gue jadi kuatir..kita susulin aja yuk, Dok…!”

Kodok: “ayuk deh..!”

Tapi pas si kura2 buka pintu… ternyata uler K.1000 udah ada di depan pintu.

Kura2: “Nah ni dia..!”

Kodok: “Iya nih dari tadi ditungguin juga… mana rokoknya. mulut gue udah asem banget nih..?!”

Uler K.1000: “Boro2 rokok… jalan aja belom..!!”

Kodok: “Haah belom jalan… emangnya dari tadi ngapain aja…?

Uler K.1000: “Yeeeeeeeee. . elu nggak liat nih… gue lagi PAKE SEPATU!!!???????

Plan: Master of Science

This is my last semester to complete my degree in biotechnology. Well, not that happy cuz I still have another 2 sems to complete another one. I have this one friend, who knows everything that I think I should know for our future path after walking out of Monash. I actually don’t plan to take my master yet after I complete this 4 yeas study, but when I think of my parent who might retired in 4 years time, I think I should continue taking master while I still have the chance and, who knows, after my parent retired my parents will not afford anymore to support my study.

What I know is that i don’t want to do research job in my future cuz it takes a very long time in order to do that, but I like science, prefer short lab time, more to office job…So, this friend of mine recommend me to go to university of Melbourne as they offer new master programs and there is master of science (biotechnology). The best thing is that they don’t ask for honours, YESSSS, it’s 2 years course, have some business subjects, and no research! Yayy.. well, it’s very expensive.. and after I calculate the total fees it is more than my total for this double degree. And that is only for the uni fees, excluding living costs. Errhmm.. well, this is just my planning and I hope I am capable of entering this course.

aih.. this semester is the worst. I have for labs in a week. But the good thing is mostly my classes start in the late morning so I don’t have to wake up early anymore, and have more rests, more sleeeeepppiiingg time.. All the subjects seem pretty hard, wew, hope I can cope with all those. Amien

Another Sleepless Night

Well, today is 12th of June and only one more night before the new semester starts. Thank God that 2 of my problems are solved just before I get a busy months, my rebate for streamyx is finally done (after 4 months of waiting which was sooooo frustating) and my laptop is fixed!!!! (after 6 weeks!!!)

I just heard this song. Just the first time I listen to it, I already liked it.. the way of the melody is flowing, the guitar sound, the guy’s voice, all are just suit to my taste. And when search for the lyric, and WoW.. I think it’s has a wonderful meaning. The guy is asking for the God’s help to take care of his special one cuz he’s such far away from her. I know that my special one is also can not be always be next to me.. he might be far away for a long time in the near future.. cuz we just need to find our way first to manage our future, that we planned. And I think I would think of this song by then..

By the way, I bought a guitar already hehe. Well, it’s not that high quality quitar cuz I just look for a guitar that can help me practice.. got it for RM120 yea.. for now I just trying to memorize the keys first.. and well, I remembered some but it’s hard to move form one key to another key when i’m playing it.. cus I still need to find the oint to put my finger on the string. I guess I need more time and practice.. I wish my brother is here to teach me.. (really miss him).

Hm, recently I’m downloading naruto like crazy! and it eats up my external disc space.. I guess i need to save money to but another one..
